Delivery Process
Property Access Requirements & Conditions
Please review carefully prior to scheduling delivery.
Delivery of bulk materials involves heavy vehicles and inherent risk. Certain placement requests require a signed Property Access & Delivery Consent Agreement before delivery can be completed.
1. Surface & Site Conditions
All deliveries must be made on safe, stable, and accessible surfaces.
Southtowns Supply does not deliver onto:
- Soft, saturated, or muddy ground
- Snow- or ice-covered drop zones
- Steep or unstable slopes
- Areas that present unsafe operating conditions
Final delivery decisions rest solely with the delivery driver.
If conditions are deemed unsafe at time of arrival, placement may be adjusted or delivery declined.
2. Concrete & Hard Surface Access
Dump trucks carrying bulk materials are extremely heavy and may cause cracking, shifting, or surface damage.
Heavy truck access onto concrete or finished hard surfaces is not permitted unless a signed Property Access & Delivery Consent Agreement is on file.
If access is granted under signed consent, all risk of cracking, surface damage, or structural shifting is assumed by the property owner.
3. Lawn & Driveway Placement
Customers requesting delivery beyond the curb or driveway (including lawn placement) must complete the Property Access & Delivery Consent Agreement.
Delivery vehicles may cause:
- Lawn rutting
- Soil compaction
- Ground disturbance
- Surface damage
- Irrigation disruption
- Material settling or spreading after drop
These risks are acknowledged and accepted under signed consent.
Drivers retain full discretion to refuse lawn access if ground conditions are unsafe.
4. Street & Sidewalk Placement
Materials will not be placed in the street or on sidewalks unless:
- The property owner is present at time of delivery
- Placement is approved in person
Customer assumes responsibility for any municipal violations, citations, fines, or removal requirements resulting from placement at their request.
5. Accessibility Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access for delivery vehicles.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Low or sagging power lines
- Overhanging branches
- Narrow, angled, or obstructed driveways
- Insufficient turning radius
- Parked vehicles, trailers, dumpsters, or obstacles
- Underground utilities or irrigation systems
Southtowns Supply reserves the sole right to determine whether a delivery site is safe and suitable.
6. Inaccessible Delivery Fee
If our driver arrives and delivery cannot be safely completed due to:
- Unsafe site conditions
- Blocked or restricted access
- Misrepresented site conditions
- Failure to complete required consent agreement
A $50 return/trip fee will be applied.
7. Consent Requirement
Delivery requests involving property access beyond standard curbside placement require a signed Property Access & Delivery Consent Agreement.
Without written consent on file, Southtowns Supply may:
- Limit placement to a safer alternate location
- Refuse access to certain surfaces
- Decline delivery entirely

Product Photo Disclaimer
At Southtowns Supply, we work hard to provide clear, accurate images of our landscaping materials, bulk stone, mulch, topsoil, and hardscaping products. Because these are natural products, color and texture can vary based on lighting, moisture, weather conditions, and the time of day the photos were taken. Materials may appear lighter, darker, or more saturated when viewed online compared to seeing them in person.
Since many customers use our photos to plan their landscaping, garden, and outdoor construction projects, we encourage you to stop by our yard to view materials firsthand for the most accurate match. We gladly provide stone samples, mulch samples, and topsoil previews to help you choose the right product for your project.
