Crushed limestone is nutrient rich and can boost plant, lawn, flower, and vegetable growth. Crushed limestone makes an excellent ground cover to improve the appearance of landscaped areas, especially where turf grasses or other organic materials are hard to maintain. Lay down landscape fabric before installing the stone to add an extra layer of protection from weeds.

Uses for Stone:

Limestone is an affordable option and has many uses. With its jagged edges, when compacted or pressed together it locks in place. This prevents movement of the limestone ensuring a more stable and sturdier surface. With its various sizes it's important to know which size you need for your project. The tinier the limestone particles, more maintenance is required if used for a walkway or driveway.

Whether you like a simplistic rock garden or a hearty bountiful flower bed there are many options. If you are looking to add some warmth to your landscape consider tawny Pea gravel or colorful Red River Rock also called Red River Stone.
